You know you’re a triathlete when the majority of the gifts you received for Christmas this year were triathlon related. This was definitely the case for me this holiday, including this fantastic female swimmer/cyclist/runner metal artwork piece shown above.
Sometimes your family members may not understand the purpose of your gift requests. For example, when my sister asked for gift ideas I responded with a link to an Ironman fuel belt. She reacted with, “You want me to buy you a race fanny pack?” I had never thought of a fuel belt as a fanny pack, but yes, I want a race fanny pack. I will be proudly sporting my new red fuel belt September, 2014 during Ironman WI.
Santa stuffed my Christmas stocking with running tights and a huge selection running socks in a wide selection of bright colors and prints. You can never have enough socks. And lastly, my sister-in-law and brother got me a stylish and warm The North Face winter hat which will be appreciated during my outdoor winter running workouts. It has come in handy today as my parent’s home in northern MN has some chilly weather and LOTS of snow. It has definitely been a white Christmas here.
Now I want to hear from you and what triathlon gear you received this holiday season.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
